Didn't plan to retire 50 years after graduating from JD but it just worked out that way. I spent the last 27 of those years serving as the Alabama Aeronautics Director/Chief of the ALDOT Aeronautics Bureau. I was very fortunate to work in a state government position that allowed me to combine both my vocation and avocation in the fields of aviation and public administration.
